We are looking for an individual with exceptional strengths in both computer science (Ph.D. required) and mechanical engineering (B.S. required, M.S. preferred) and demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge in cross-disciplinary research. These skills will be applied to research in automated data center synthesis and management involving next-generation power, cooling and computing resources. Knowledge of mechanical systems is essential, as is the ability to architect and implement large, complex software systems.
